Pat spent the first week in April at the legislature and met with Jim Weiers, Speaker of the House, and Bob Robson, Speaker Pro Tem, who both pledged support for Pat's campaign.  Pat is spending a lot of his time getting up to speed on all the legislative bills. Since Pat is Chairman of District 29 he has been spending time getting the monthly Republican meetings set up. Pat obtained the required signatures and will be on the ballot. Pat needs to be elected and this not only involves Pat giving speeches but passing out the literature door to door and that is why we need volunteers. Think about it when was the last time that someone came to your door and asked you to vote for someone. It really happens very infrequently and when it does it has an impact with the voters. Pat and Vicky plan to be walking almost every Saturday and Sunday afternoon and frequently in the evening. Look at it this way, as a volunteer walking frequently you don't have to go to the gym and work out there, you can use hundreds of calories walking. As a state we cannot afford to give up the legislature to the Democrats with their spend and spend more attitude and you rich people that make over $15,000 a year can pay for all the programs. We all need to work hard to get Pat Kilburn elected because after Nov 4 it will be too late. If you are willing to volunteer try to get a neighbor or friend to volunteer. There are only 6 months and and it will all be over. Now is the time at act, volunteer and give a little to the Republican campaigns because if we lose you are going to be giving a whole lot more.
